Welcome to Midlothian and to our wee bit o’ Scotland in the Southland!
We are very proud of our Chamber of Commerce and our Village, so much so, that we have worked quite hard putting this site together for you to review, learn about us a little, and maybe even want to join our ranks!
We at the Midlothian Area Chamber of Commerce have worked hard these last few years to make our organization something to be proud of. Just 10 years ago we were struggling with a membership of only 40 members. Today, we are proud to say we have become a group of over 150 members of businesses mainly from Midlothian and Posen but also from surrounding communities as well!
We have worked side by side with the Economic Development Committee of Midlothian on projects such as the Annual Community Calendar, the Magnetizing Midlothian Project, and the Scottish Faire. We sponsor the Annual Santa Day Parade along with the Lunch with Santa and the Tree Lighting Ceremony the first Saturday in December. Many a student has received a scholarship given each year from the Chamber of Commerce to lucky Bremen High School graduates. August brings us to our Annual Golf Outing held at the prestigious Midlothian Country Club, one of the first ten golf courses in the entire United States. September brings us our annual visit from the Kelly Miller Circus in Midlothian. And we sponsor the Annual Santa Day Parade along with the Lunch with Santa and the Tree Lighting Ceremony on the first Saturday in December.
As you can see, we are dedicated to bringing the people to the business community!
It is our number one goal to promote Midlothian and its business community! We are looking forward to the future of our organization and the future of Midlothian! Thank you for being a part of it!
